Section 1: Order Processing & Business Hours

  • Our Working Days: Our team processes and dispatches orders from Monday to Friday. We do not process orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.

  • Order Processing Time: All orders are typically processed and prepared for dispatch within 24 business hours.

  • Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order. Please review this to ensure all details, including your delivery address and contact information, are correct.


Section 2: Our Local Delivery Services

These services are handled directly by our own Dunărea delivery team to specific postcodes in Leeds and the surrounding areas. The available options for your address will be displayed at checkout.

  • Same-Day Delivery

    • This is our premium, fastest service available for eligible LS* postcodes.

    • To receive your order on the same day, you must place your order before 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday). Orders placed after this cutoff time will not be eligible for same-day delivery.

    • The price is calculated based on the distance from our store to your address.

  • Friday Delivery

    • This is our great value, fixed-price delivery option.

    • All orders with this option will be delivered on the upcoming Friday.

    • To qualify for Friday delivery, your order must be placed before 5:00 PM on the preceding Thursday.

  • Driver Communication & Live Tracking: For all our local deliveries (Same-Day and Friday), you will receive a tracking link via SMS or email on the day of delivery. This allows you to see your driver's progress in real-time. Our driver may also contact you by phone when they are near.

  • Receiving Your Delivery: Please ensure someone is available to receive the order. For perishable goods, we cannot leave orders unattended. A redelivery fee may apply if we are unable to complete the delivery.


Section 3: DPD Next Day Delivery

This service is handled by our trusted courier partner, DPD.

  • Third-Party Service & Responsibility: Please be aware that DPD is a third-party courier. While DPD has a very high success rate, we cannot guarantee their delivery timescales. Once your parcel is handed over to DPD, they are responsible for its safe and timely delivery.

  • Tracking: You will receive an email and/or SMS from DPD with your tracking number and delivery updates once your order is dispatched.

  • Delivery Issues: For any issues with a DPD delivery (e.g., a delay, a missed delivery, or a damaged parcel), you must contact DPD's customer care team directly.


Section 4: Important General Policies

  • Shipping Costs are Non-Refundable: Once an order is prepared for dispatch, the shipping fee is non-refundable as it covers the cost of the delivery service.

  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: If you receive a damaged item, you must contact us within 24 hours with clear photographic evidence, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Please be aware that for health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any unsealed products. This includes jars, cans, sweets, cleaning products, and all fresh, chilled, or frozen food items. Please refer to Section 8 of our Terms and Conditions for the full policy.
